It's a difficult call because it's always tempting to think anyone who disagrees with something you said must be a troll.īut many of the opinions espoused have been so ludicrous ("Only children watch animation") or sneering "you're a child" "you're a moron" I find it hard to believe normal adults would subscribe to them they seem more like the kind of thing trolls or paid trolls would do. It looks like those guys are active in this thread "defending" the reputation of WIR2. (They actually used to list this as one of their "defences" for legal reasons some of them seem to allude to it but no longer state it outright.) I guess these days we've all hear of "reputation defenders" or "media guard" you can employ these companies to watch any of your trademarks or brands etc and some will even smear and even attack people who say negative things about them. Still hoping you make WIR3 but some improvements needed.Įdit: The amount of negative, sneering and flat out rude replies is quite interesting.
The idea of exploring the internet was fine but what you did with it was poor. To the makers ditch the "woke" plot next time and write a plot that's inspiring for girls AND guys bring back some of the other characters (A debugged king candy?) and get some better music.

That was a terrible, stupid plot point and yet it was the major pin on which the whole movie hung.
Almost all of us use computers and have AV many of us are actually programmers too. The whole thing for Ralph was about having to learn to let go of this girl he liked.while the whole thing for Vanellope was about having a whole new world to explore. Pretty much everyone else was forgettable except for mr know it all.Īnd the was so "you go girl". So were Felix and Calhoun.what little we got to see of them. Ralph and Vanellope's voices were still great. Most of the characters are absent entirely and even some of the best are only there for moments of time, like an afterthought. (Kind Candy? Fix it felix? Sergeant Calhoun?) And the music was brilliant too.Īnd then we have WIR2. Interesting plot, some great lines, great characters, great acting, great voices.even now I could say the names of the characters and you would hear their voices in your head. I loved WIR1 it's in my top 10 favourite movies (Along with Big Hero 6 and Spirited away.) Finally watched WIR2 and I am so disappointed.
